Your Role:

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js with a focus on scalability.
  • Design and build RESTful APIs and integrate back-end services with front-end applications.
  • Work extensively with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, EC2, and RDS.
  • Build and manage serverless workflows using AWS Step Functions.
  • Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Incorporate error handling, logging, and monitoring with tools like Splunk.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, DevOps, and front-end developers.
  • Write clean, efficient code and maintain detailed technical documentation.
  • Contribute to Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of proven experience with Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Advanced expertise in AWS cloud services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions, and messaging/event-driven services like SQS and EventBridge.
  • Practical knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) for automation and provisioning.
  • Strong grasp of serverless and cloud-native design patterns.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions.
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Good problem-solving ability, collaboration skills, and attention to detail.
